Sounds like some of it is worth staying awake for. I really want to see if anyone reacts to the last days comment. Reservations in another post calls it a sign of infighting. I would think these talks are prerehearsed. But the tight pants seemed to go off the rails.

Recent Annual Meeting - Asking for Clarification
by truth_b_known inwould someone in the know please clarify for me some alleged comments given from the governing body at the recent/yet to be streamed for the rank and file annual meeting?.
it is my understanding that samuel herd basically tells the rank and file that old light is new light and the new light of july, 2013 is now old light.
to be specific, herd states that the official stance on whether or not the annointed remaining on earth, to include the governing body, will all be in heaven prior to armageddon.. at this same annual meeting tony morris iii tells those in attendance that stephen letts' statement that "we're living in the final part of the last days, undoubtedly the final part of the final part of the last days!

Snowman at assembly hall

just whimsy during lunch, no one was out in the cold.
i thought maybe some kids would get a little enjoyment.

A few years ago I built a 6 inch snowman on a picnic table at the assembly hall. Just whimsy during lunch, no one was out in the cold. I thought maybe some kids would get a little enjoyment. Within a half hour it was gone. Probably was demonized or an idol. Next time it will be a calf if I can find some gold glitter. (Assuming I ever am back there)

Governing Body Update #9...Jehovah is guiding his people during the pandemic

not once in his talk does he mention that jehovah would give all members a super immune system that would fight off the virus.
neither does he mention that jehovah would reduce positive covid-19 numbers, hospital admissions and covid-19 deaths of his people.. mr. splane: how does the almighty, all knowing jehovah guide his people during the pandemic?.

It is easy for a cloistered religious compound to avoid bringing in an outside virus. Those of us outside go to work, stores, recreation so have a greater chance of exposure.
Is the greater number of deaths statistically significant? I think our math wizard got insulted and left

she sued, and the case was dismissed by a district court.
now it's heard by the ninth circuit.

A rare instance of being right. We do not see the wording of the oath though. Maybe it wou li d be something we would not object to, or over the top.

Consumption of Blood

it says in leviticus that you cannot consume blood, so no blood transfusions.

Be warned this is a site for apostate leaning JWs. True wutnesses do not have any open forums.
That said, the mosaic law says animals are to be bled. Not wringed out. Kosher meat is bled as is almost all American meat. Some jews will hang slices on a rack to let more juice drain. Note that cooked meat still has cooked blood in it.
You can ask your bible e teacher and the elders but be prepared for conflicting opinions. Note that they are opinions, not supported by WT law. It gets worse when assessing fractions of blood in medical procedures.

You do need to differentiate the reason for disfelloeshipping. Some "sins" are easy to recognize; murder, rape, robbery, fraud. But the usual reasons are doubting the governing body and fornication.
